BC TAKES ON SASKATCHEWAN IN SUPER FOOTBALL SATURDAY DOUBLEHEADER!

(Vancouver) It will be an unprecedented provincial rivalry of the football variety as British Columbia and Saskatchewan collide in a gridiron double header on Super Football Saturday set for September 13th at BC Place.

The resurgent Simon Fraser University Clan take on the Saskatchewan Huskies at noon followed by the BC Lions tangling with the Saskatchewan Roughriders at 7:00 pm.

“We are proud to welcome the SFU Clan to BC Place and provide football fans with a full day of outstanding action on the field,” said Lions’ vice president, business, George Chayka.

The event will mark the first CIS-CFL double header in the 25-year history of BC Place. Fans can take in both games for $30 (plus applicable charges) and can purchase tickets through Ticketmaster (604.280.4400) or online at ticketmaster.ca.

Current Lions season ticket holders can purchase tickets to the SFU game for $10 by calling 604.589.ROAR or by showing their season ticket at the gate.
