VANCOUVER, B.C, JULY 25th, 2005 – The BC Lions will face off against western rival Calgary Stampeders on Friday, July 29th at 7:00 p.m. With the fans' help in the cheering department, the Lions want to send the Stampeders limping back across the border.

Once again, the Lions will be causing a ruckus on the corners of Beatty and Robson Streets with their famous Street Party prior to the game. There will be Food, Fun and Entertainment for fans of all ages. Sponsored by Save-On-Foods, The Street Party is proof that Vancouver is a fun city! Take part in face painting, poster making and inflatable games, and enjoy appearances by Leo the Lion and the Felions Dance Team.

Kick back to live music on the Main Stage at the Terry Fox Plaza and enjoy lots of great food along the street. BC Lions on-field host, Tim Donovan, will once again be hosting the Street Party from the Terry Fox Monument Main Stage. A DJ from The Beat 94.5FM will be setting the tone for the game against Calgary. The action, which starts at 5:00 p.m. and runs to kick-off, will be aired live on local radio stations.

Stay put at half-time as aspiring Felions put on a crowd pleasing show. Participants of the Junior Felions Dance Camp will be unveiling their new moves on the field, and if last year's group was any indication, these girls are going to be good!

Don't forget to buy your BC Lions Magazine. This week's program features Quarterback Casey Printers. Inside you will find the Game Day Hot Sheet, packed with rosters and depth charts, key players to watch for in the game and hot news around the league.

Friday's game is sponsored by Tim Hortons.
