The Province's Ed Willes reports that the Lions' defence returned to form in Saturday's West Semi-Final win over the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

"When you're backed into a corner, you either cower or you come out fighting," defensive end Cam Wake said on the field at Mosaic Stadium, shortly after the BC Lions laid a 33-12 beatdown on the 'Riders.

"We came out fighting."
