The BC Lions Football Club announced today that import wide receivers Curtis Jackson, Chris Bush and Wiley King have been signed by the club.

Jackson, a former Ottawa Renegade spent the latter half of the 2004 season in the nation's capital and finished the season among the team's leading receivers with 47 receptions for 537 yards and a TD.

This will be Jackson's third stint in the CFL after breaking into the league in 1999 with Hamilton where he appeared in nine games for the Ti-Cats grabbing 5 passes for 95 yards. Although he played primarily on special teams returning 28 punts for 246 yards and another 11 kickoffs for 193 yards, he did manage to catch the eye of NFL scouts and would eventually play for both the New England Patriots and Kansas City Chiefs seeing action in a total of 21 games in 2000 and 2001.

Bush was signed by the Tennessee Titans in 2005 as an undrafted free agent and was released last August. At Tulane, Bush started 20 of his last 22 games and led the Green Wave in receiving as a senior grabbing a career-best 37 receptions for 665 yards and an average of 18.0 yards per catch.

King attended Weber State and recorded career-bests of 31 receptions and 511 yards as a full-time starting senior last year. A talented special teams performer as well, King left school as the all-time leading kickoff returner with 2,041 yards on 98 returns. An outstanding athlete, he was also a member of the school's track and field team.

Lions Training Camp begins on Sunday, May 21 at Rotary Stadium and surrounding fields located on the Abbotsford Exhibition Grounds.

The Lions open the per-season versus the Calgary Stampeders on Friday, June 2 at BC Place Stadium at 7:30 pm.
