PARIS JACKSON PICKS UP FOURTH PLAYER HONOUR; HUNT COLLECTS FIRST

(Vancouver) In the aftermath of the Lions’ 55-32 dismantling of the Toronto Argonauts, receiver Paris Jackson has earned his fourth Canadian Player of the Week award while teammate Aaron Hunt picks up the honour of Defensive Player of the Week.
Jackson hauled in five receptions for 91 yards and a TD last week and pushed his career-best totals to 73 catches for 1,149 yards on the year. As noted, this is Jackson’s fourth ‘Canadian’ nod on the season and second in as many weeks.
Hunt notched three sacks and a forced fumble to claim his first Defensive Player of the Week award in 2008. The third-year Leo and former Outstanding Rookie has 11 sacks on the season – good enough for second place overall in the CFL.
