With kickoff for the 2011 Senior Bowl slated for 1:00 pm this Saturday, March 26th at historic Empire Field, the Lions hit the turf this afternoon in a guest coaching capacity to help prepare local high school athletes for the annual game.

Lions quarterback Travis Lulay, safety Jason Arakgi, offensive lineman Justin Sorensen, defensive back Hamid Mahmoudi, fullback Rolly Lumbala and defensive lineman Sean Ortiz along with Lions general manager and head coach Wally Buono were on-hand during Thursday's practice to offer their insight to some of the province's most talented high school football stars.

Senior Bowl is open to players in grade 12 who are just about to graduate from high school. The camp is by invitation only and is comprised of all-stars from BC Community Football and BC High School Football along with a number of players selected from the hundreds who attended one of several tryout sessions held across the province. The purpose of the camp is to encourage the players to continue their football careers when they enter the post-secondary phase of their lives either in Midget, Junior or University football.
