The Offensive Linemen are known for their appetites. They talk about food, they eat food and when people talk about them, it is usually in reference to food. Seldom talked about are their antics. These guys must eat to fuel their sense of humour. The point of this story was to show just how funny these guys are . . . but of course, all conversation led back to food.

If a ballet was made about the O-Line what would it be called?

Cory Mantyka: “Pigs in the Mud.&rdquo
Bobby Singh: “Pigs in the Blanket. That works food into it. Pancakes are good.&rdquo

What TV show or movie would best represent the O-Line?

Jamall Powell: “That would have to be the Stooges, but with the five of us…or nine of us I guess, because we all do funny stuff.&rdquo
Kelly Bates: “Foghorn Leghorn. Smartest rooster you will ever meet…like us.&rdquo

Random Sound Bites

Cory Mantyka on good Halloween costumes:
“I had a hideous Dracula just a few years back and I had the long hair to go with it. The Jolly Green Giant was a good one too. [As for the Halloween candy] That stuff is bad for you, I would never put it in my body.&rdquo

Angus Reid on crazy addictions:
“Food. We like to eat, I mean you don't get big like this by accident.&rdquo

Bobby Singh on strange pre-game rituals:
“If I roll out of bed and get up, I am good to play.&rdquo

Kelly Bates on Cory Mantyka:
“He never takes anything seriously, he likes to show his butt to everyone , and I just don't know what he is doing half the time.&rdquo

Angus Reid on Offensive Line Coach Dan Dorazio:
“This is going to be in print? I shouldn't say anything. He's got his own sense of humour…I don't know if he is even trying to be funny, but it sure comes across that way a lot of the time.&rdquo
