Ken "Kato" Kasuya - Equipment Manager

Always a familiar and smiling face in the CFL, Kato Kasuya enters his 28th season with the BC Lions. Originally hired as a ball boy at age 13, Kato graduated from Templeton Secondary School in East Vancouver. When not in school, Kato endeared himself to the BC Lions Football Club in the Empire Stadium days and was eventually hired into the organization as assistant equipment manager in 1984.

In the Grey Cup championship season of ’94 Kato was named equipment manager and he has remained with the organization in that capacity ever since. In the off-season, Kato spends his time with Football BC assisting at amateur football camps as well as a number of Football BC functions such as Senior Bowl and Practice with the Pros.
