Denzel was signed as a free agent by the Lions in January 2024.

Highlights:

2023: Landed with the USFL’s Philadelphia Stars.

2022: Denzel signed with the Baltimore Ravens as a non-drafted free agent and would be with the team for a portion of training camp before being released.

College:

2020-21: Moved to Villanova for his final two years of eligibility and registered 28 combined tackles (17 solo, 11 assisted), seven pass breakups, two interceptions and a pair of fumble recoveries in 15 games. Earned the CAA Commissioner’s Honour Roll Award in the spring of 2020, fall of 2020 and spring of 2021.

2017-19: Denzel suited up at Sacred Heart University for three seasons while recording 35 combined tackles (28 solo, seven assisted) and six pass breakups in 26 games.
