JACKSON & GLATT EARN PLAYER OF THE WEEK KUDOS

(Vancouver)  After a convincing 42-24 over the Winnipeg Blue Bombers last Friday, quarterback Jarious Jackson and linebacker Javier Glatt have earned CFL Player of the Week honours in the offensive and defensive categories.

Jackson enjoyed a career day throwing five touchdown passes and a total of 340 yards on 19 completions in just three quarters of work. The night included a dazzling 76-yard TD pass and run play with Geroy Simon. This is Jarious’ first Offensive Player of the Week award.

Javier Glatt notched six tackles and two interceptions to claim the Defensive Player of the Week award. Glatt who currently leads the Leos with 20 defensive tackles has now earned three POW awards with the first two coming in the 2006 season.
