Keron signed as a free agent with the Lions during the 2010 off-season, joining the club following two seasons in Montreal.
2012: Another vintage season for Keron as the veteran defensive lineman earned his second straight West Division all-star selection to go along with his first CFL all-star honours since 2009. He led the CFL in sacks for the first time in his career with 12, picking up at least one in 11 games including the first five contests to start the season.
Keron also added 29 tackles, a pair of forced fumbles, three tackles for loss and two pass knockdowns. Two of his career-high 12 sacks came on June 29/12 vs Winnipeg, his eighth game with multiple sacks in his career. His 10-yard fumble return on Oct 12/12 vs Hamilton was the longest of the season for the Lions.
2011: Keron had a stellar season for the Lions, registering career highs in defensive tackles with 43, quarterback sacks with 11 and tackles for a loss with 10. He ranked fourth in the CFL in sacks with his 11 takedowns and trailed only teammate Anton McKenzie in tackles for a loss. He was named to the West Division All-Star team, his third divisional honour in his first five seasons.
Keron recorded a career-high three sacks on Aug 19/11 vs Edmonton and had a very consistent 2011 with nine games of three or more tackles along the defensive line. He forced one fumble in 2011 and recovered another.
