Ossai was signed as a free agent by the Lions in May 2012.

2012: Ben signed as a free agent with the Lions following a workout in Seattle in May 2012. Following a successful training camp, the hulking offensive tackle spent the season on the club’s practice roster.

2005-2009:  Ben appeared in 48 games at Washington over four seasons after spending his first year as a redshirt.

Starting 42 games from the left tackle position, the California native was was named to the Sporting News Pac-10 All-Freshman Team in 2006.

Ben was an American Ethnic Studies major at Washington and lists his mom and brother as his biggest fans. The hulking tackle notes catching a pass on a tipped ball versus USC as his biggest football memory to date.

When not sitting down to catch episodes of Family Guy, Ben can be found on his Xbox or listening to Lil Wayne or Wale.
